Accessing the Dashboard

The dashboard appears by default when you sign in. To return to the dashboard from another page, tap Dashboard in the navigation menu.

You can view a specific student’s dashboard by tapping in the top-right corner of the screen.

The Notifications widget displays scheduling notifications.

Notification Preferences

Set event reminders

In Notification Preferences, use Event Reminders to choose one or more times to be reminded about events on your schedule: at the event time, 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes before, or one day before.

You can preview the sound beside a notification preference before selecting it. Reminder preferences follow your EMCE account across devices, but each device schedules its own notifications.

Note

Event reminders require an installed EMCE app and permission to display notifications. They are not scheduled by the web app. If reminders do not appear, check the notification settings for EMCE on your device.

Evals To Do widget

The Evals To Do widget displays evaluations that need your attention, which may include:

• Evaluations that you started but did not complete
• Evaluations for which you are the evaluator, and that need your approval
• Evaluations of yours that have been rejected (denoted by an icon)

Tap an evaluation to act on it.

Upcoming Events widget

The Upcoming Events widget displays upcoming events that are assigned to you.

Sim Sessions widget

The Sim Sessions widget shows today’s Sim Sessions for a selected cohort. Choose a cohort to load its sessions, then select a session to open it. Faculty who can create Sim Sessions can use New Sim Session from the widget.

Use the dashboard settings to show, hide, or reposition the Sim Sessions widget.
