Complete a Lab and Record Results

Use Complete when an activity has already happened and you want to record instructor-evaluated results for several students at once.

Start the completed Lab

1. Go to Evaluations > Labs.
2. Open the Templates tab and select the template.
3. Tap Complete Evals.
4. Make sure Complete is selected.
5. Choose the Lab evaluator.
6. Select the organization unit, cohort, and students.

The evaluator picker includes instructors, Administrators, and Directors who can serve as the expected evaluator for the template’s requirements.

Decide how to handle Peer requirements

If the template contains Peer-evaluated requirements, choose one option:

• Assign peer evals to students creates those evaluations as To Do work. Students can claim and complete the peer evaluations later.
• Keep peer requirements without creating evals keeps the requirements on the Lab but does not generate peer evaluations. The affected students will not reach complete Lab progress until those requirements are addressed.

Record results

1. In the roster section, tap Edit Results.
2. Move across the results grid to review each requirement and attempt or encounter.
3. For Skill requirements, record success, failure, or no status.
4. For Patient requirements, record Assessment, Treatment, and Management scores.
5. When a Patient requirement includes required skills, open Customize and record the result for every skill attempt.
6. Save the results and return to the Lab creation screen.

Review the initialized results

Opening Edit Results initializes every Skill attempt as successful and every Patient score at its maximum. Change any result that does not match what happened before creating the Lab.

You can reset the results grid if you need to start over before creating the Lab.

Sim Sessions

Sim Session requirements cannot be completed in bulk. Use Assign and run the Sim Sessions live, or use a template without Sim Session requirements for the Complete workflow.

Create the completed Lab

Set the date, time, and duration or connect the Lab to an event, then use the action at the bottom of the screen to create it.

Instructor-evaluated Skill and Patient evaluations are generated with the recorded results. Any peer evaluations you chose to assign appear in students’ Labs and evaluation To Do views.
